I am listening to Dr. Ryan Van Cleave who almost committed suicide over WOW. He talked about the dark world of video game addiction, and how it's a growing epidemic.

While on the show, Dr. Cleave talked about a real live story about a boy shooting his parents because they took a copy of "Medal of Honor" away from the boy. The boy was sentenced to over 23 years in prison.
A caller called in with a story saying that a famous WWII veteran was beated by his nephew for money to buy video games, who was left to bleed in his home to die while his nephew played games.
I hope stories like these can help provide a "wake-up" call to addicted gamers.
